Jang Keun Suk Vents His Rage at Chinese Sasaeng Fans
It was recently revealed that Jang Keun Suk had even sparked an investigation among the Chinese police due to his sasaeng fans. At the same time, he also gathered interest for cursing on his Weibo in relation to the incident.
On August 11, Jang Keun Suk wrote on his Weibo, ‘I told you not to drive on the wrong side of the road, but you’re just not listening. If everyone’s safety is at risk I can’t come back to China.’ It seemed he had an issue with the sasaeng fans following his car.
After Jang Keun Suk’s performance at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, some fans had chased after Jang Keun Suk while putting everyone in danger by breaking numerous traffic rules in order to see him again.
At this Jang Keun Suk left on his Weibo a post that contained a curse in English. The post was soon deleted as Jang Keun Suk seemed to have thought it would cause an issue, but the Chinese press reported on it nonetheless.
The post he had left was ‘XXXX… I told you… can’t u [sic] understand? What the….’
Despite the fact that he had cursed in a public account, because he had been provoked by the sasaeng fans chasing him around, the Chinese press didn’t make much of the post.
On his Twitter, Jang Keun Suk tweeted, ‘The police keep telling me to go back due to safety reasons. Let’s please know when to stop. If you keep going on like this, I won’t be able to get any more permits for my concerts. I won’t be able to go to China anymore.’
On August 12, the tweet was followed by another reading, ‘I love China. I just hate those few sasaeng fans who chase me around 24 hours a day, break traffic laws, don’t care for safety and only care for themselves. I wanted to stay in China longer and write a Shanghai diary, but I will be returning to Korea! I’m sorry, I thank you and I love you. Except for the sasaeng fans.’
The tweets were deleted shortly after.
Jang Keun Suk did safety return to Korea, and he will soon be continuing on his tour through Asia.
