A Young Man Finds His Long-Lost Mother Thanks to Busker Busker
Busker Busker hasn′t even officially debuted yet, and its already changing lives!
A story of a netizen, who met his mother for the first time in 25 years thanks to Busker Busker’s performance on Mnet’s Superstar K3, has been going viral.
A note titled,“Thank you so much, Busker Busker” was put up on Superstar K3′s official homepage on October 25. The fan wrote that, after listening to Busker Busker′s performance of Bus Stop, he was motivated to find his mother.
The band sang the song in the third live mission, which was based on the theme of‘A song dedicated to someone special.’ Busker Busker′s vocalist, Jang Bum June, said he picked the song for his mother and moved the audience with his gratitude and love for her.
The writer, who described himself as a male in his 30s wrote, "I’m writing this to express my gratitude.” He said his mother left home when he was five. “One day, I happened to listened to the song Bus Stop by Busker Busker, and I missed my mother. Eventually, one week later, I decided to try to find my mother who had been missing for 25 years."
He found out his mother’s ID number and phone number with the help of a registration office and texted her, and the mother and son had a reunion for the first time in 25 years. He continued, “I’m now enjoying the happiest moment in my whole life. I’m overwhelmed, so I left this message of graditude.”
“It might sound weird if I say I found my mother thanks to Busker Busker’s song. But I realized my longing for my mother in my heart after listening to this song and the gathered courage to find her. That′s the truth. I’m really thankful to Busker Busker. I hope the band will continue to move many people with its excellent music in the future. I’ll treat them to nice dinner if they contact me sometime,” added the writer.
