It turns out A Pink member Jung Eun Ji’s ideal type has gone on to win gold in the Olympics.

In February, Jung Eun Ji had performed at the 17th Coca Cola Athletic Awards in Seoul. Big Korean sports stars such as gymnast Yang Hak Seon, figure skater Kim Yuna and judo player Kim Jae Bum had attended the event.

As soon as A Pink wrapped up its performance, the MC of the event had approached Jung Eun Ji and asked, “I heard your ideal type is a man with no double eyelids, a sharp nose and a smile that makes him look kind. Some say that the description is similar to Yang Hak Seon; they asked me to ask you this.”

To this, the singer answered with a bright smile, “Yes, I believe he’s close to my ideal type.”

Yang Hak Seon stood up at the statement and expressed his thanks toward Jung Eun Ji.

Months later, at the London Olympics, Yang Hak Seon became a Korean hero, winning Korea’s first gold medal in gymnastics history with his trademark ‘Yang 1’ vault technique, named after himself, as he is currently the only person in the world to perform this technique.

Jung Eun Ji has also gone on to bigger success, as she currently is the star of tvN’s Reply 1997 as the H.O.T. fan Sung Si Won.
