SHINee′s Key Tears Up On...Roller Coaster
What makes SHINee′s Key cry?
Winning awards, performing in front of huge, loving crowds and...roller coasters?
On the October 19 broadcast of Fuji TV’s Sakigake! Music ranking EIGHT, Key and his group, Shinee, headed off to an amusement park in Tokyo, where happiness and balloons reign. Or not.
At first, the group members looked as excited as little kids...but soon enough the laughter turned to screams.
The members, for some reason, took their chances on a roller coaster that shoots up 60 meters high with the force of 4 gs, while Key tried to get out of it, wailing, "What is this?? I hate it."
And when they were back on safe ground, Key′s eyes were teary.
Poor Key. Especially since his fellow members, as the boys that they are, took an inordinate amount of pleasure in Key′s pain, and forced him to ride it again. But the boys, who were enjoying their first trip to an amusement park in a long time, kept laughing innocently all the time.
After the airing, the program’s host left comments and pictures on his blog blog, writing, “After the shooting, the members wanted to ride it again, so the singers and the crew went on the rides all together.”
Meanwhile, SHINee’s album Lucifer, the group’s third single album released in Japan, ranked second on the Oricorn single chart on October 20. The group’s first full album is set to come out on November 23, which is likely to add to its popularity spurt in Japan.
