Jang Keun Suk Attends Special 30th Birthday Art Exhibit Hosted by Fans

Actor Jang Keun Suk has attended a 30th birthday event hosted by his fans.

From August 6 through 7, Jang Keun Suk′s official fan club Cri J hosted the 2016 Jang Keun Suk Birthday Photo Sharing Exhibition in Seoul. This marks the 4th year the photo exhibition has been held and fans from all over the world gathered to attend. 900 fans gathered before the opening of the exhibition and a total of 1,500 fans were in attendance throughout the weekend.

In addition to photos taken by fans, the art exhibit also included fan art from the last year. The art exhibit included a variety of events such as a an arrow shooting event to commemorate Jang Keun Suk′s role in SBS drama Royal Gambler and an area documenting community service done by Jang Geun Suk and his fans.

Jang Geun Suk also attended the event and surprised fans in attendance. The actor walked through the exhibit admiring the artwork and photos and occasionally stopped to sign the pieces.

After attending a simple birthday party with fans, Jang Geun Suk stated, "It was a joyful time as I remembered what happened through the last year. More than an exhibition created with the fans, I think it means more as they have lived each day to the fullest. I thank the good hearts of fans who continue to do community service and good works even in places where I am not present. I hope that I could be with them in this place again next year."

Meanwhile, Jang Keun Suk has been receiving attention after it was revealed that he is appearing in upcoming tvN reality variety program Candy, which will begin airing on August 18 at 11PM KST.
