2PM′s Jun.K Talks About his First Korean Solo Album
2PM′s Jun.K has talked about how he feels about his first solo album since his debut 8 years ago.
On August 8, Jun.K held a showcase for his first solo album Mr. NO♡. He began the showcase by stating, "In Japan, I released 2 solo albums and held solo tours."
However, this is Jun.K′s first Korean album since he joined JYP Entertainment 12 years ago. He shared, "I also able to release an album after learning a lot from producer Park Jin Young. Apart from trendy music, I showed my real feelings through the album."
Jun.K continued, "Around May and June of this year, I showed Park Jin Young my title track and he liked it the most. But I got a review as "too unfamiliar" during the monitoring stage. But I want to show my personality through this music. That′s why I sent an email to all the company staff saying I wanted to challenge myself as a musician."
Meanwhile, Jun.K released his first solo album Mr. NO♡ since his debut 8 years ago on August 9.
