Singer Shin Hye Sung’s popularity in Taiwan is nothing short of explosive.

Tick Tock, the title track from Shin Hye Sung’s fourth studio album The Road Not Taken, which was released on August 5, is currently number one on the Taiwanese music chart Channel V.

Within the first week of its release, the album also snagged the number three spot on the Taiwanese weekly chart. Not only does this attest to Shin Hye Sung’s popularity across Asia, but it proves the Shinhwa member’s prowess as a solo artist.

Meanwhile, Shin Hye Sung is in Japan shooting the album cover and music video for his new single album, which contains I Believe, the duet with Kiyokiba Shunsuke, former EXILE member.

Shin Hye Sung successfully wrapped up a series of performances in Seoul, Busan, and Shanghai on June 24. As a token of his appreciation, Shin Hye Sung will host a special two-day event, 2011 Tour in Seoul - The Road Not Taken Act II, at Kyung Hee University’s Hall of Peace next month on September 3 and 4.
