A showcase was held for the release of Eric Nam′s new mini album Interview at the Yes24 Muv Hall in Seoul′s Mapo-gu on March 23, where a reporter asked, "You′re often described as the Nation′s Boyfriend. Have you dated in Korea?" to which Eric Nam responded with a laugh, "Yes, I have dated in Korea."

He continued, "After we broke up, I was single for a long time. I thought I needed to focus on my activities, so I immersed myself in work."

Eric Nam returned with new mini album Interview on March 24. It is his first album in three years since 2013 release Cloud 9.

Fluent in four languages (Korean, English, Spanish and Chinese), Eric Nam has interviewed numerous stars, from Robert Downey Jr., Jamie Foxx, Miranda Kerr, Matt Damon, Chloe Moretz, Paris Hilton, Mika, Noel Gallagher and more. His new album, which is a reflection of his personal experiences, contains a total of five tracks, including Good For You, Stop the Rain and No Comment.

Good For You, in particular, which he wrote and composed himself, is a love song based on his personal experience.

Eric Nam said, "Good For You is a song that captures the emotions I felt. I thought about what could set your heart at ease when you′re in love and going through a difficult time or exhausted. Although it′s based on my own experience, it′s not about my own dating experience."

Eric Nam said, "I′ve gotten my name out there as an interviewer until now, but I want to reestablish myself as a singer-songwriter this time. I hope you′ll see me as Eric Nam, the singer."

Meanwhile, Eric Nam graduated from Boston College in 2011 and was offered a job at Deloitte before he returned to Korea to appear on MBC′s Birth of a Great Star 2. He made his debut in 2013 with first mini album Cloud 9 and went on to release digital singles Ooh Ooh, Melt My Heart, I′m OK and Dream.
