The Girls’ Generation members recently sat down with enews for an interview and talked about the most memorable fans they encountered while on their 14-leg arena tour.

The youngest member, Seohyun revealed, “There’s a fan whom I still remember. I saw a gray-haired grandfather excitedly cheering us on at one of our concerts. I was happy at the thought, ‘Ah, even people like him gain strength from listening to our music.’”

“I saw a fan who couldn’t stop crying during our arena tour,” said Taeyeon. “I’ve also seen a fan with a tattoo of the name ‘Girls’ Generation’ on his arm.”

Sooyoung added, “Whenever we have a concert in Japan, male and female fans of all ages come out. Often times, little kids will comes dressed in our outfits. When we’re on stage, we can see the audience really well, and it was so adorable seeing [the fans] bring out the little details [in the outfits].”

“I think the fans who come to our concerts and spread the word are the reason why we’re so loved all around world,” said Seohyun.

Meanwhile, the title track to Girls’ Generation’s third studio album The Boys will be released worldwide via iTunes while the maxi single containing the track will be released in the U.S. in November via major record label Interscope Records, which houses artists like Lady Gaga, Eminem and the Black Eyed Peas.

The Teddy Riley-produced The Boys is a pop dance track that features a powerful drum sound and a distinct harmony.
