Winner Confirms Comeback for January 11

Winner is finally making a comeback on January 11.


YG Entertainment announced the comeback through a teaser poster released on its official blog on December 14. The poster states, ′2016.01.11 NEW RELEASE′ with a silhouette of the members holding up ′W′ hand signs.

Yang Hyun Suk posted an image reading ′WINNER Miss them?′ on his Instagram back in September, heightening anticipation for Winner′s comeback, and with a comeback date set, fans are going wild.


Many are curious to see how Winner has transformed over the last year and five months since the release of the group′s debut album 2014 S/S in August of last year.


Not only did Winner top real-time music charts with Empty, the lead single from the first album, they ranked number one on Gaon′s daily and weekly charts, garnering attention as the hottest rookie group at the time.


Winner also took home number one trophies on the three major network music programs in the shortest amount of time since their debut, enjoying immense popularity as a rookie group, and even picked up awards at the year-end ceremonies.


The group also enjoyed explosive global popularity, ranking number one on the Billboard World Albums chart with their debut album and number two on Oricon′s weekly chart.


This year, Winner launced the WWIC 2015 conference in three countries - Korea, China and Japan - in January and February, receiving a warm welcome not only from fans in Korea but local fans abroad. Winner also successfully wrapped its first Japan hall concert tour, Winner Japan Tour 2015, which kicked off in September, demonstrating its popularity.


Fans are curious to see what new music and performances Winner, who received an enormous amount of love through their debut album, has in store.
