Brown Eyed Girls
'Brown Eyed Girls (B.E.G) is a girl group under the 'Nega Network' in Korea. The group consists of four members, leader&vocalist Jea, vocalist Gain, vocalist Narsha and rapper Miryo. After more than 3 years of training in singing and holding several small concerts, the group debuted with their 1st album "Your Story" in February 2006. The title track was ballad 'Come Closer'. Brown Eyed Girls came back with their 1st mini-album "With L.O.V.E" in 2008 and this album became an instant success. The 3rd full-length album "Abracadabra" which was composed by Lee Min Soo. This song took the Kpop world by storm.
BIGBANG is a YG Entertainment boy band consisted of G-Dragon, T.O.P, TaeYang, DaeSung and SeungRi. The group was formed in 2006 and made their debut in 2007 with their Album “Always” which contained big hits like “lies”. They became popular shortly after their debut and are known for their self producing singles. Girl group ‘KARA’ (Park Kyuri, Han SeungYeon, Nicole Jung, Gu Hara and Kang JiYoung). Kara started as a group of four and debuted in 2007. In 2008, Kara vocalist Kim Sung-hee departed the group due to parental pressure. Following that, DSP Ent was looking for new member to strengthen the group for the part of dance and vocal in web(http://dspenter.com) audition. Two new members, Goo Hara and Kang JiYoung, were added to the group to make it the five-member group it is now.
Kim GunMo was the best musician in 1990s. His nickname is “The Korean Stevie Wonder”. He debuted with 1st album in 1992. In 1995, Kim GunMo holds the record for biggest selling album in Korea with his 3rd full-length album, which sold over 2.8 million copies. He is also one of the few singers to have an album sell over a million copies.
